Lead Food Service Worker

Lead Food Service Worker needed for school food service program in the Piscataway, NJ area. Monday through Friday, day shift, no weekends or holidays. Summers off.

Comfortable in leading a kitchen team in a fast paced environment. Training staff as needed. Possible travel within the school district. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in NJ schools.

Requirements:

• Must have food service/ cooking experience. K-12 experience a plus.
• Follow recipes according to the NSLP guidelines.
• Observe that all safety and food handing procedures are followed at all times.
• Enforce the use of Personal Protective equipment at all times.
• Inventory and ordering 
• POS/ cash register 
• ServSafe® certified a plus
