Given ongoing construction and development plans, our current apartment portfolio of 6,000 plus units is expected to double in the next couple of years and rise to over 12,000 units in the next five years.

We're currently seeking a full time Land Use Paralegal

This is not a hybrid position

This person will work at our corporate headquarters in Piscataway, NJ 

You will work directly for the President/CEO of our Real Estate Development Company

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with the CEO on processing and following up with engineers/lawyers and other professionals to track land use approvals, entitlements, and project management
  • Answer and respond to phone calls; communicate messages to the CEO at the end of each day
  • Prioritize and respond to all emails
  • Maintain the filing system of government approvals and entitlements
  • Organize and prepare agendas and minutes for all meetings relating to tracking government approvals including sending reminders to responsible parties
  • Prepare and review all mail for the CEO relating to real estate matters
  • Manage the CEO’s calendar when necessary
  • Includes all of the above, but not limited to the listed responsibilities
