Power Systems Inside Sales Estimator - Piscataway, NJ

• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine scope, equipment requirements, and bid deadlines. 
• Obtain vendor and subcontractor quotes and prepare accurate project cost estimates for equipment, labor, and services. 
• Collaborate with Sales to develop pricing strategies, evaluate competitive factors, and establish bid pricing. 
• Prepare, submit, and revise proposals based on project scope and specification changes. 
• Provide technical support, product information, and electrical sizing calculations, including generator selection. 
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide proposal clarifications, and support additional business and team objectives as needed. 
• Additional duties may be assigned to help expand your skills and contribute to evolving business needs

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field required. Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a competitive estimating role may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and codes. 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills. 
• Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and learn new tools, systems, and processes. 
• Detail-oriented and dependable, with sound judgment, basic computer skills, and a commitment to quality work.
• Familiarity with electrical load calculations, permitting requirements, and estimating software/tools.
