ESY Sunrise Special Education Teacher

2026 AIU Operated Special Education Schools Extended School Year (ESY) Program

The AIU Special Education and Pupil Services Division is seeking interested applicants for its upcoming ESY program for the Mon Valley, Pathfinder, and Sunrise Schools.

Pending approval from the AIU Board of Directors and for 2026 only, individuals that are interested in working the ESY program will be eligible for an incentive payment based on the date of the application which they commit to working the ESY program and the number of days they work.

Incentive payments will be processed following the conclusion of ESY after confirming the date of application and the number of days worked. Individuals are required to work a minimum of eighteen (18) of the nineteen (19) days including the staff orientation day on June 26, 2026, and the close out day on July 24, 2026. Individuals that do not work the required days will forfeit the incentive payment.

Please contact the appropriate principal or supervisor with any questions. Staff who are interested in ESY positions are expected to work the entire ESY program. Staff members that are interested in working only a portion of the program must make those arrangements with the building principal prior to applying.

4. Above the job description for the position, click the Apply button
5. If applying for more than 1 ESY position, you will need to repeat the preceding steps.
