About the Role:

The Dishwasher plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of a food service establishment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and ready for use. This position supports the kitchen and dining staff by efficiently managing the flow of clean items, which directly impacts the overall customer experience and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment and manual methods as needed.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes and kitchenware in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen and service staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, floors, and equipment, following health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies.
  • Follow all instructions from supervisors and kitchen management to support overall kitchen operations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance to ensure consistent support for kitchen operations.
