Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24-hour Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, wound healing center, swing bed care, 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and leads all aspects of the Medical Staff Services Office.
  • Maintains accurate files for all physicians, dentists, podiatrists, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, all allied health practitioners as defined in the Medical Staff Bylaws / Rules and regulations.
  • Maintains schedules for all medical staff committees / subcommittees, work groups.
  • Manages appointment, reappointment, and changes in status / credentials for all LIP and advanced practice practitioners

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • High school graduation 

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certification by the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) as a Certified Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Staff Services Management (CPMSM)
