Job Summary

Performance Mechanical Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrative Assistant to join our Payroll team in Pittsburg, CA. The Payroll Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the payroll team with administrative duties and payroll processing tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

 

Compensation Range: $23-$26 per hour.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Report to and assist the Payroll Manager with tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with running payroll reports.
  • Respond to client requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond to employment and government (i.e., EDD) inquiries.
  • Answer phone calls, filing, and data maintenance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 1-3+ years of experience in an office environment.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills.
