Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming materials, components, and supplies to verify conformance with established specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
- Identify and report any non-conforming products, materials, or processes, and collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve quality issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of food safety and quality control procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Communicate effectively with production staff, supervisors, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality control.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and requirements (e.g., USDA, FDA, SQF, ISO,) is desirable.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
