Description:

POSITION PURPOSE: Our Outpatient Therapists for this position provides care to those served as part of our team that works with individuals with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.

You will be responsible for leading and facilitating the Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group, provide level of care assessments, individual and group psychotherapy to adults, and work to incorporate the strengths of their supports in their environments to maintain their recovery efforts in the community. While all therapists are expected to manage their caseloads and function independently, they’ll also collaborate with others in a team-based approach to care.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Facilitate Mental Health Intensive Outpatient (IOP) group, case management, individual therapy sessions for those clients, and other IOP duties.
  • Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions for clients
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine client’s strengths, needs, and diagnosis
  • Complete documentation within the electronic health record in congruence with organizational policies and regulatory requirements to ensure quality indicators and productivity requirements are met
  • Engage with the clients’ natural supports to strategize methods of supporting client goal progress and wellbeing and collaborate with members of the treatment team, community members, and third-party providers
  • Attend and participate in clinical, administrative, and community partner meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS:

  • Master’s in Human Services and 1 year of care delivery experience. Graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum
  • Licensure Required: LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Act 33 – Child Abuse History Clearance
  • Act 34 – Criminal Record Check
  • Act 114 – FBI Fingerprint Criminal Background Check

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS:

Work Schedule: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position Monday through Friday, primarily 9:00am-5:00pm, with one evening available per week to meet the needs of persons served.
