We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hardworking Grounds Crew member to join our team and help ensure our golf course remains in pristine condition year-round.


Position Overview:
As a Grounds Crew member, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for maintaining the beauty and quality of Fox Chapel Golf Club’s golf course and grounds. You will assist with a variety of tasks to ensure the golf course is in excellent condition for members and guests. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about turf management and outdoor work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the golf course and grounds, including mowing, trimming, aerating, and fertilizing.
  • Operate and maintain various turf equipment, such as mowers, blowers, and other machinery used for landscaping and course maintenance.
  • Assist with planting, watering, and pruning of trees, shrubs, and flowers.
  • Help with maintaining bunkers, tee boxes, greens, fairways, and roughs.
  • Assist in irrigation system maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Perform routine course clean-up duties, including removing debris and leaves.
  • Work with the Grounds Superintendent and team to implement course improvement projects.
  • Ensure safety protocols and proper care of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in grounds or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate turf maintenance equipment (training can be provided).
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license is preferred.
