You will: Work each shift with safety, integrity, and well-being of all guests and crew as top priority, reporting to the Manager on Duty. Be proactive in regards front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests). Prevent losses and damage by de-escalation, informing people who violate policies/procedures, restraining trespassers. Maintain organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements, such as inspecting guests’ identification to discern legal capacity and escorting rowdy guests from the venue. Communicate effectively with every guest and report pressing security-related matters to local authorities and your line manager. Ensure that all Guests receive a remarkably consistent and positive experience. Be knowledgeable on basic security, patrolling and fire safety measures. Uphold an upbeat and professional attitude – you are always ready to greet the next Guest when they walk through the door. QualificationsQualifications: You are a genuine, charming, vibrant and team-oriented individual, you can stand on your feet for long periods of time and lift 50lbs or more. You might have a minimum of 1 year of security, bouncer, bar guard experience. We will consider the right person, with the right attitude who can back-up their abilities through previous work, or involvement in teams (school, work, or sports). You pride yourself on your customer service skills, your ability to make people feel safe, your reliability and your ability to ‘keep upbeat’ even during the busiest shifts. You are solution focused and resourceful – you think on your feet effectively to find resolutions to situations and are apt at conflict management. You are physically agile and have great reflexes; experience in self-defense and lifting are preferred. You are a great communicator with crowd management, observational, and conflict management skills and can be stern when needed.
