Assistant Professor- Full-Time

The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine (UPSDM) Department of Restorative Dentistry/Comprehensive Care invites applications for a full-time position at the academic rank of Assistant Professor, in the appointment stream. Candidates are required to have a DDS/DMD or equivalent; and hold a Pennsylvania dental license. We are seeking an outstanding individual with experience in emergency clinical care, and who can contribute to our educational programs and the research impact of our institution. The primary responsibilities include didactic, preclinical, and clinical instruction of dental students, scholarly activities, and service. Applicants should have work experience in public-sector dentistry and be willing to teach coursework in that area. Salary will be commensurate with the Candidate's qualifications, experience, and credentials. Desirable candidates will have substantial experience, unique clinical talents, and proven leadership skills.
