Sonic Summary

A hands-on systems design workshop hosted by MW engineers is scheduled for Monday, September 14 from 5-6:30pm.
Participants will tackle a real problem faced at Marshall Wace and explore the technology used to address it.
Attendees will work in small groups to create their own solutions, collaborating closely with MW engineers for guidance and feedback.
Each group will present their design, discuss key decisions, and receive live feedback, with a prize for the winning team.
This workshop is ideal for individuals with at least 2 years of experience in systems design, and the salary for related positions starts at $80,000.

We'll present a real problem we've faced at Marshall Wace and the technology we used to solve it. After an intro to the problem and requirements, you'll break into small groups to design your own solution, working closely with our engineers to iterate, challenge, and refine your approach. Each group will then present their design, walk through key decisions, and receive live feedback. The winning team takes home exclusive MW merch.
