Job DetailsJob Location: Shady Side Academy Senior School - Pittsburgh, PA 15238Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Shift: DayJob Category: TransportationJob description: To operate a school bus to transport students/staff/parents to specific locations according to a specific time schedule, AM and PM. Bus driving as assigned, in accordance with all safety regulations and traffic laws set forth by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Shady Side Academy. Maintain a daily driver’s log. Refuels the bus after completing runs and reports any mechanical problems to the Garage Mechanic. Clean the interior of the buses/ vans daily and wash the exterior weekly. Maintain and check fluid levels as required to keep the bus in a safe and proper operating condition. During downtime, assist Grounds QualificationsJob Qualifications: CDL Class B with P and S endorsements required. Must pass FBI Fingerprint, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, and PA State Criminal Background History Check and complete a Mandated Reporter Certification.   Compensation Competitive Salary based on experience can be negotiated, including excellent health/retirement benefits/paid holidays, which are part of the employment package.
