We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Data Analyst to support the operational, reporting, and billing functions of our Adult Day programs. This role serves as a key resource for data integrity, electronic health record administration, operational reporting, billing support, and process improvement initiatives. The Business Data Analyst partners with program leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving operational issues.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to train, support, and collaborate with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
  • A customer-service mindset when supporting system users and operational teams.

What You'll Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Information Systems, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience supporting healthcare, behavioral health, human services, or a similar operational environment.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems, operational reporting, billing processes, service authorizations, and regulatory compliance preferred.
  • Experience providing technical support, user training, and data analysis strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with CareLogic or a comparable electronic health record system preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet agency driving requirements for business-related travel.
  • Successful completion of all required clearances and background checks.

A Typical Day May Include:

  • Monitoring billing activities, documentation requirements, and service authorizations to support accurate revenue capture and regulatory compliance.
  • Serving as the primary CareLogic resource by providing user support, troubleshooting, training, and system guidance.
  • Analyzing operational, authorization, utilization, and billing data to identify trends and improve program performance.
  • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and operational metrics for leadership review.
  • Reviewing documentation workflows and resolving issues related to claims, authorizations, and service delivery records.
  • Collaborating with Finance, Information Technology, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and operational leadership teams to improve processes and workflows.
  • Training staff on documentation standards, reporting tools, billing procedures, and system best practices.
  • Managing recurring appointments, regulatory schedules, service authorizations, and compliance tracking.
  • Investigating and resolving data discrepancies while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives through workflow analysis and operational recommendations.
  • Partnering with program leadership to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
