The role works closely with Senior Client Executives, Financial Analysts, Sales Executives, and company leadership, and offers strong growth potential within the captive practice.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

  • Own the client and broker relationship for an assigned portfolio of captive clients — serving as the first point of contact, proactively retaining business, and ensuring optimal service, communication, and timely deliverables
  • Own the day-to-day execution of account management tasks, maintaining client service calendars and coordinating with Financial Analysts on financial statement review timelines to ensure accuracy and avoid missed deadlines
  • Develop and manage project data-request lists, following up on outstanding information and reports and rigorously reviewing all information received for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Navigate and customize services based on each client's needs and expectations
  • Partner with Senior Client Executives on communications and relationships with client service providers, predominantly actuaries, auditors, and TPAs, to build knowledge, rapport, and business opportunities
  • Identify when and how to negotiate policy terms and conditions where opportunities are available, addressing them with the Senior Client Executives and clients
  • Exercise discretion on claim or premium projections and retention levels to help guide clients on optimal utilization of their captive
  • Prepare client proposals and annual meeting documents, assist Captive Department Producers with new business proposals, review policies and reinsurance contracts, and provide data and needs-based support to clients throughout the policy year
  • Manage correspondence with brokers to compile underwriting submissions to assist the Senior Client Executives
  • Create and present actuarial premium analyses to advise on additional coverages the captive could write, at client meetings and with travel as needed (approximately 10%)
  • Create and maintain client compliance documents and maintain client files
  • Participate in department meetings as needed.
