AboutĀ the Role:āÆĀ
TheĀ Case Development ParalegalĀ plays a foundational role in the clientās journey. This team member conducts detailed client interviews, gathers essential case facts, ensures early deadlines are met, and advances new matters through the beginning stages of the case lifecycle.Ā

Client Communication & Fact GatheringĀ
Conduct initial and follow-up interviews with clients to collect and verify essential case information.Ā
Maintain regular communication with clients in theĀ early stagesĀ of the case to gather updates, documents, and any missing information.Ā
Provide clients with a clear understanding ofĀ nextĀ steps and what is needed from them.Ā
Case Development & InvestigationĀ
Collect, review, and summarize key information related to liability, injuries, insurance, and incident details.Ā
Request and obtain relevant documents from clients, providers, insurers, and agencies.Ā
AssistĀ inĀ identifyingĀ potentially responsible parties and verifying preliminary case facts.Ā
Initiate earlyĀ evidence-gatheringĀ tasks to ensure deadlines are met.Ā
Workflow & Deadline ManagementĀ
Advance cases through the firmās early-stage workflow by completing required tasks promptly and accurately.Ā
Ensure all time-sensitive items ā such as early notices,Ā requiredĀ forms, and follow-up communications ā are completed within deadlines.Ā
Maintain clear, organized, and thorough documentation of all actions and communications.Ā
Make detailed and informed case recommendations to the attorneys and managementĀ
Data & Record ManagementĀ
Accurately enter, update, andĀ maintainĀ case information in the firm's case management system.Ā
Track client treatment progress, identify gaps or issues, and ensure updated information is captured.Ā
Prepare cases for handoff to the next phase of the process once all required early-stage tasks are complete.Ā
Client Care & SupportĀ
Serve as a compassionate, steady point of contact during what may beĀ a difficult timeĀ for clients.Ā
Help clients navigateĀ early treatmentĀ needs, documentation requests, and general case questions by guiding them to the right care at the right timeĀ
