Customer Service - Blood Collection Team

Pay: $18.64 - $19.69 per hour 
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, Five days a week, variable hours between the hours of 6am-8pm based on business needs, Every other weekend required.

Travel: You will assist Vitalant’s donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations withing a 200-mile range while creating comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donors.  Every day you will help save lives and have a vital impact on your community. 

No prior experience is required. Paid training is provided. 

Looking for a career where you can help people, build valuable healthcare skills, and make a difference every day? As an entry level phlebotomist on our Blood Collections Team, you'll travel to regional blood drives and work directly with donors to collect blood and blood products that save lives. No previous blood collection experience is required. In this hands-on position, you'll guide donors through the donation process while collecting the blood and blood products that hospitals rely on every day.

 Every day you will: 

• Create an exceptional donor experience by welcoming, educating, and caring for donors throughout the donation process. 

• Perform blood collections while ensuring donor safety, comfort, and confidence. 

• Maintain accurate records and follow all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. 

• Drive company vehicles of all sizes, set up and operate equipment at mobile blood drive locations. 

• Contribute to a mission-focused team committed to ensuring blood is available whenever and wherever patients need it. 

• Gain valuable experience, develop specialized skills, and have opportunities to pursue new challenges throughout Vitalant.

Required Qualifications 

• High school diploma or GED 

• Valid driver’s license  

• Ability to travel throughout the service area, including weekly overnight hotel stays, as needed. 

• Ability to work a variable schedule, including weekends as needed
