Direct Hire Divisional Director of Clinical Education (RN) Role $140,000 to $160,000 per year in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Clinical Magnet (part of ICON Medical) is seeking an experienced Divisional Director of Clinical Education (RN) to support multiple long-term care facilities within a respected healthcare organization. This leadership role focuses on strengthening clinical education, infection prevention, and staff development programs across facilities while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in patient care.

Job Summary
The Divisional Director of Clinical Education provides clinical expertise, training, and operational support to multiple facilities. This role focuses on advancing clinical education initiatives, supporting Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training programs, and guiding infection prevention and control efforts. The DDCE works closely with facility leadership to ensure clinical operations meet regulatory requirements while promoting high standards of resident care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical education leadership and support across multiple facilities
- Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff and clinical teams
- Support and oversee Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training programs
- Guide infection prevention and control initiatives in accordance with regulatory standards
- Provide consultation and resources to ensure clinical compliance and operational excellence
- Collaborate with leadership teams to strengthen clinical practice and education initiatives
- Monitor clinical education outcomes and support continuous improvement efforts
- Travel to facilities as needed to provide on-site training and support
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in nursing service administration
- At least two (2) years of experience teaching or training adult learners in a clinical setting
- Specialized training in infection prevention and control (CDC infection prevention modules or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel to support multiple facilities
