Your Impact
As a Union (Teamsters 249) Driver, you'll play a critical role in ensuring hospitals receive the blood and blood products they need to care for patients. In addition to transporting lifesaving products, you'll build strong relationships with hospital staff through exceptional customer service and support our mobile blood drive operations by assisting with the setup and takedown of blood drive equipment.

- $21.05 per hour

What You'll Do
As a Union Driver, you will:
- Safely transport blood, blood products, medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and other Vitalant locations.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships by providing outstanding customer service to the hospitals and facilities we serve.
- Support mobile blood drives by loading, transporting, setting up and breaking down blood drive equipment and supplies.
- Properly handle, transport, document and dispose of regulated medical waste in accordance with safety standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and safely operate company vehicles in varying weather and road conditions.
- Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills to safely navigate changing weather, traffic and other transportation challenges while ensuring timely deliveries.
