Become an addition to our Maintenance team! We are looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician to help keep repairs low and spirits high. Our maintenance team will maintain our facility and help with driving residents to their appointments.

 

 

Job Duties:

 

1.Resident Transportation

A. Provide safe transportation to and from appointments.

B. Operate a wheelchair lift on a 14-passenger bus.

C. Ensure safety while using seatbelts, wheelchair and object securements.

D. Maintain required transportation records.

E. Communicate between departments to adhere to resident schedules.

 

2. Building/Grounds Upkeep

  1. Maintains the facility grounds and building exteriors on a daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.
  2. Repairs or replaces defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and resemble equipment.
  3. Performs routine preventative maintenance to resident rooms to ensure everything is in proper working order.
  4. Assists in moving materials, supplies, equipment, etc.

 

3. Equipment Upkeep

  1. Performs routine preventive maintenance on laundry equipment, heating and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers, fire/smoke alarms, lawn sprinklers, lawn equipment, and plumbing are performed as required by the manufacturer and in accordance with the warranty specifications.
  2. Ensures maintenance duties are performed according to manufacturer specifications and local Health department regulations.

 

4.  Maintenance Knowledge and Compliance

  1. Follows established safety precautions when performing tasks, as well as when using equipment and supplies.
  2. Ensures that established infection control practices are maintained when performing maintenance duties.
  3. Follows proper techniques for mixing chemicals, cleaning disinfectants and solutions.
  4. Attends staff meetings and in-service education, as required.

E.    Assists the Maintenance Director in resolving guest complaints concerning the Maintenance department.

 

5.  Compliance and Record Keeping

  1. Completes all Company and State required training.
  2. Assists Maintenance Director in maintaining key control files and logs.
  3. Maintains a work order assignment board and track completed/pending work orders.  Follows up on all incomplete work orders to inform the requesting resident or department of the status of their work order.

May perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  1. High School diploma or GED
  2. Valid Driver’s License
  3. Ability and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
  4. The ability to meet minimum physical requirements to perform job duties.
  5. Exceptional customer service skills.
  6. The ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.

Schedule

Full Time

9am-5:30pm
