Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $23.05

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Worker is responsible for cleaning and general maintenance work orders throughout the center. 
  • The Maintenance Worker performs interior and exterior janitorial, building maintenance and grounds keeping assignments according to work orders.
  • Performs minor building construction tasks, mows lawns, maintains grounds, and picks up trash and papers.
  • Ensures that all tools and equipment are in good repair and kept in appropriate storage sheds and closets.
  • Transports equipment and/or commodities throughout the center.
  • Ensures all equipment and facilities are clean and maintained in accordance with Center standards.
  • Maintains a work environment of zero accidents and injuries including no loss-time accidents.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required. One years’ related work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.
