Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and history of success that spans more than 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 14 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We are seeking an IT Support Specialist for our Pittsburgh, PA office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor the help desk phone queue as a priority, promptly answer incoming calls, and provide email and conference support to end users across the organization
- Troubleshoot technical issues by applying critical thinking to diagnose root causes, determine appropriate solutions, and escalate as needed
- Provide a courteous professional response to customers in a timely and accurate manner, via phone, email or chat
- Follow-up and close out all open tickets
- PC set-up, delivery and general maintenance
- Provide on-call support after business hours
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills/Abilities
- Outstanding communication skills

- Ability to troubleshoot, think critically, and diagnose technical problems
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office365 and applications used in a law firm environment
- Prior experience with a ticketing system is preferred
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum two years of help desk experience
Physical Requirements:
- Remain stationary for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks such as working at a computer
- Ability to move throughout the office to attend meetings, access files, collaborate with colleagues, and use standard office equipment, including but not limited to, printers, copiers, scanners
- Ability to move, transport, set up, breakdown or reposition technology equipment, up to 25 pounds
- Ability to transport materials using carts, dollies, or other appropriate equipment
