Position Summary

Our Pittsburgh, PA office has an opportunity for an experienced attorney to join the Firm’s expanding practice in the exciting area of traditional labor law. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, including working with either public or private sector employers on arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, and/or bargaining matters. We have a strong preference for a candidate with the above-described qualifications, but we will consider others with less years of experience. 

Ogletree’s Pittsburgh office has one of the most dynamic labor and employment practices in the region and is expanding to meet client demands and to prepare for future growth.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania. We will also consider candidates actively seeking admission to the Pennsylvania bar. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice. 
  • Candidates must possess traditional labor experience, ideally 5+ years.
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills are required.
  • Strong writing and public speaking skills are required. Outstanding academic credentials preferred (Top 25% of class).
