Faith-based family health care center seeking a full-time (40 hours per week Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team of clinical professionals. The Licensed Clinical Psychologist provides psychotherapy/therapeutic interventions to patients with a variety of mental health diagnoses and assists patients with social work issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MUST be a Licensed Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience in a health care setting helpful
  • Experience utilizing the DSM-5
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking a plus

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides clinical/psychosocial assessments, referrals and clinical treatment to patients. Coordinates and plans programs and activities to meet the patient's social and emotional needs.
  • Collaborates with other members of ELFHCC's behavioral health team, and medical providers to provide co-management activities for patients who require additional services.
  • Develops treatment plan which includes patient strengths/preferences. Establishes a plan for regular contact with each patient to review progress and assess the potential for additional needs.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of federal, state and local assistance programs and community resources that affect patient needs.

CRITICAL SKILL/REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with patients who have suffered from trauma, abuse, chemical dependency and other behavioral health conditions. Experience working with the healthcare needs of underserved populations. Must have reliable transportation in order to get between sites, if necessary.


Compensation:

Salary range commensurate with education and experience.
