Now hiring Make Ready Service Technicians at Park West 205!

The Make Ready Service Technician prepares vacant apartments for market-ready condition by performing various maintenance and turnover duties including, but not limited to:

  • Standard apartment turns and unit preparation
  • Basic appliance repair and troubleshooting
  • Drywall repair and touch-up painting
  • Basic electrical repairs and fixture replacement
  • Caulking and apartment touch-ups
  • Trash-out and debris removal
  • Testing locks and key sets
  • Assisting with property inspections and apartment walks
  • Maintaining grounds and common areas including trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks and breezeways, etc.
  • Assisting Maintenance Technicians, Porters, and Housekeeping as needed
  • This is a newer property, so the role will focus primarily on routine turns and general maintenance needs rather than extensive renovation work.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base Pay: $18.00 –$19.00 per hour
  • Up to 20% Rent Discount
  • Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions
  • Morgan Essentials: $300 quarterly
  • On-Call Appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone

Hours & Schedule

  • Monday – Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Position will eventually participate in rotating on-call responsibilities
  • Must be available and prepared for emergency events as needed
  • *Schedule subject to change based on business needs

What we’ll expect from you:

  • Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Live within a 30-minute commute of the property.
  • Traditional maintenance skills and hands-on experience preferred.
  • Experience with apartment turns, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and basic electrical work preferred.
  • Candidates with strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred, but not required.
  • One year of related maintenance experience, or equivalent education and experience.
