The Manager, Global Franchise and Wholesale Commercial Activation serves as a shared operational resource across Global Franchise and Wholesale Merchandising, Marketing, Innovation, key cross-functional stakeholders, and partner-facing teams. This role is responsible for translating commercial priorities into coordinated execution plans that support product launches, partner activations, business reporting, and market execution across various International Franchise, US Franchise, and US Wholesale channels. The position owns the planning, coordination, tracking, follow-up, and hands-on implementation needed to bring executional excellence to each initiative efficiently and consistently.

JOBÂ RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Own integrated commercial and planning calendars and trackers, including execution milestones, commercialization deliverables, partner communication timelines, enterprise priorities, channel-specific activations, launches, and major project deadlines across global franchise and wholesale initiatives
- Translate merchandising, marketing, innovation, and commercial strategies and business decisions into coordinated execution plans
- Manage launch and activation readiness by coordinating item and promotion setup, samples, go-to-market checklists, launch documentation, partner materials, marketing calendars, toolkit distribution, promotion tracking, franchise follow-ups, and post-activation recaps in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Own activation tracking and scorecards across launches, promotions, partner participation, execution readiness, milestone adherence, and post-activation learnings to improve visibility to business impact and execution quality
- Coordinate franchise and wholesale partner activations, including partner collaboration cadences, shared information decks, communications, external resources, event logistics, sampling requests, yearly planning processes, and partner follow-up
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison and operational hub across Merchandising, Marketing, Innovation, Communications, Finance, Analytics, Operations, cross-functional stakeholders, and partner-facing teams, coordinating inputs, maintaining visibility to project status and dependencies, and reducing manual coordination burden on senior leaders
- Support localized and channel-specific execution by working with strategic owners to adapt approved priorities, materials, calendars, and activation plans to the needs of International Franchise, US Franchise, US Wholesale, and relevant partner-facing teams
- Partner with Finance, Analytics, and Wholesale to organize recurring sales, loyalty, launch, promotional, retail performance, wholesale promotion, opt-in, and partner participation reporting; support recap development and visibility to translate into key business outcomes
- Proactively identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and barriers across project and/or commercialization deliverables, such as timing, content, item setup, samples, partner materials, communications, reporting, and market requirements; recommend solutions, coordinate follow-up, and escalate when needed
- Prepare agendas, pre-reads, meeting materials, notes, and follow-ups for key internal, cross-functional, partner, and vendor meetings; represent teams in tactical planning meetings as needed
- Develop or refine and maintain standardized tools, templates, playbooks, intake processes, operating rhythms, execution standards, and shared resource libraries that create scalable, repeatable ways of working and improve visibility, consistency, accountability, and efficiency
- Additional duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for supervising multiple projects.
PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Hybrid work environment, 3 days in-person attendance (Pittsburgh, PA) in addition to ability to work remotely.
- Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
- 8+ years progressive marketing, commercial planning, merchandising, franchise, wholesale, retail, project management, or related field required
- 5+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect)
- 3+ years in project management, process improvement, and/or change management
- Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred
- Experience supporting franchise, wholesale, retail, merchandising, marketing operations, commercial planning, product launch, partner activation, or omnichannel execution environments required; global or international experience preferred
- Secondary language skills a plus
- High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Experience building or improving commercial calendars, launch trackers, scorecards, dashboards, meeting cadences, playbooks, templates, or execution processes
- Strong business acumen with ability to understand sales, loyalty, launch, promotional, retail performance, opt-in, partner participation, and execution-readiness metrics
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills, with ability to synthesize reporting, partner feedback, and project status into clear recaps, risks, decisions needed, and next steps
- Ability to build collaborative relationships, influence peers and senior management, clarify ownership, drive accountability, and advance execution through follow-up and cross-functional coordination
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in a variety of business models, including active listening, presentation, meeting facilitation, and preparation of clear internal and partner-facing materials
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts, especially retail math and data analysis
- Ability to adapt and excel both autonomously (within) and with a team in an ambiguous, fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
- Ability to work and lead meetings during various global time zones (e.g., calls prior to 8am and after 5pm)
