Production Team Member- 2nd Shift

For over 15 years, Lightweight Manufacturing has been at the forefront of the tensile manufacturing industry. We specialize in the manufacturing of custom fabric paneling for architecture and tent rentals using Radio Frequency (RF) heat sealing of plastic-coated industrial fabrics. No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided for this team-oriented position.

We are currently looking for full-time (40 hr/week) production team members for our second shift, 9:00 am-5:30 pm Monday-Friday (Hours subject to change). This is an in-person manufacturing position.

Description: New employees will assist machine operators in handling materials (moving, cutting, inspecting, packing, etc). With further training, including blueprinting reading instruction, employees will begin solo operation of RF equipment. All employees are responsible for promoting safety by following all safety procedures and practices.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• HS Diploma/GED required
• Eligible to work in the United States (We are an E-Verify participant)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
• Basic knowledge of measurements (Knowledge of the metric system a plus!)
• Strong attendance and reliability 
• Ability to work as a part of a team 
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

**This job involves physical labor. Employees work as a team to move large/heavy fabric panels. The role involves physical tasks such as bending, standing, working on the floor, handling large/heavy objects, talking, and hearing. Associates will occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, or reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision. Our manufacturing facilities use equipment that creates Electromagnetic and Radio Frequency Interference, which can cause issues in certain medical devices when in close proximity while in use.
