Achieva provides personalized services and opportunities that respect each person's unique aspirations.  Position Summary The Senior Trust Accounting Supervisor manages the daily functions of the Achieva Family Trust finance department, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and trust financial regulations. This position enhances financial workflows to improve operational efficiency and fosters a positive and efficient workplace. The Senior Trust Accounting Supervisor directly supervises the Trust Accounting Supervisor and Trust Financial Analyst and reports to the Achieva Family Trust Finance Director.  Key Responsibilities Supervises all aspects of trust accounting and assists with fiduciary tax processes. Oversees the PNC credit card and True Link debit card programs, including reporting, tracking fund requests, and monitoring disbursements. Completes bank reconciliations and complex account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Drives process improvements by identifying reconciliation inefficiencies and implementing innovative solutions for cross-system accuracy and compliance. Charges monthly fees accurately according to the approved AFT fee schedule. Maintains and updates daily market values of assets. Coordinates with external auditors to ensure audit requirement compliance. Supervises and mentors the Trust Accounting Supervisor and Trust Financial Analyst, managing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment. Collaborates with colleagues and leadership to enhance internal controls, improve operational efficiency, and uphold accounting best practices while ensuring trust compliance. Oversees specialized computer software for daily transactions, account creation, report design, and accurate bridging of tax information. Leads and coordinates month-end and year-end closing procedures. Oversees account closures and final distributions. Assists in preparing and reviewing all client quarterly and annual reports for accuracy and completeness. Serves as backup to the Trust Accounting Supervisor and AFT Finance Director. Stays current with accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency. Supports the achievement of individuals’ personal outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience. Thorough understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software. Experience identifying and implementing process improvements. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Solid work ethic and dedication to meeting deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements. Must satisfy Pennsylvania Act 33 and Act 34 requirements. Possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver's license and a properly insured vehicle for daily use.  Why Join Achieva?
