The School of Business & Enterprise seeks a qualified MBA student to serve as a Graduate Assistant with primary responsibility for grading student assignments. This position provides valuable experience in academic assessment while supporting faculty in maintaining high-quality educational standards.Â

Required QualificationsÂ
Currently enrolled MBA student in good academic standingÂ
Strong analytical and written communication skillsÂ
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlinesÂ
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Â
Previous experience in business or academic environments preferredÂ
Â
Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ
Grading and Assessment (80% of role)Â
Grade student assignments, examinations, and projects according to instructor-provided rubricsÂ
Provide constructive feedback on student work that supports learning objectivesÂ
Maintain detailed grading records and ensure accuracy in all assessmentsÂ
Calculate and record grades in appropriate systems within specified timeframesÂ
Â
Administrative Support (20% of role)Â
Attend brief meetings with supervising faculty to discuss grading expectations and student progressÂ
Assist with organizing and distributing graded materials to studentsÂ
Support faculty with other academic tasks as assigned and time permitsÂ
Â
Performance ExpectationsÂ
Timeliness: All assignments must be graded and returned within deadlines established by supervising facultyÂ
Consistency: Apply grading rubrics uniformly across all student submissionsÂ
Quality: Provide meaningful feedback that helps students understand their performanceÂ
Reliability: Maintain consistent availability and communication with supervising facultyÂ
Confidentiality: Handle all student information and academic records with appropriate discretionÂ

Currently enrolled in MBA programÂ
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detailÂ
Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and metricsÂ
Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skillsÂ
Collaborative approach with ability to work effectively in team environmentsÂ

Time CommitmentÂ
10 hours per weekÂ
Flexible scheduling with peak workload periods aligned with assignment due datesÂ
Availability required during final exam periodsÂ

Â
All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.
Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
