As a Quantitative Analytics & Model Development Manager Senior within PNC's Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Tysons, VA. This position is primarily located in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager's discretion. You will use data and analytics to manage model risk and regulatory compliance, combining operational execution and analytical skills to manage model risk management processes across the first line of defense. Responsibilities include working with the model validation team to establish standard Model Program Risk Requirements, reviewing and providing input on procedures, promoting effective model risk management practices, assessing aggregate model risk, producing regular reports, acting as a conduit between model validation and business units, completing Model Lifecycle Procedure training, and educating business unit leadership on inventory and Model Risk Program Requirements. The role oversees development, testing, and validation of quantitative models for business decisions, conducts comprehensive model review testing and analysis, supports development of new model frameworks, refines and validates existing models, communicates with model owners and developers, works with large data sets, directs qualitative and quantitative assessments of models, confirms reviews of reports and analysis, validates models and assesses risks, leads evaluation of model risks, and prepares documentation for validation and regulatory compliance.
