We're currently seeking a Mechanical Technician to join our team. This is more than a maintenance role — it's a chance to become part of a proud tradition and build a stable, long-term career in a supportive and safety-first environment.

This is a 3rd Shift Role:  9pm-6:30am  

Guaranteed 40+ hours with opportunities for overtime. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain comprehensive understanding of how the equipment’s mechanical systems are built and operate.
  • Troubleshoot and solve any issues related to the equipment’s hardware.
  • Follow manufacturer’s guidelines/manuals for service, repair, and set up.
  • Respond quickly to any problem causing equipment down time.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure equipment can meet its availability requirements.
  • Keep accurate records of all work performed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

The Mechanical Technician works precisely and carefully to assemble equipment according to engineering drawings in-house and at the customer’s site. Assists in the commissioning of machines and systems and responds to customer’s service needs. Cross-disciplinary work is required with all trades, external companies, suppliers, and manufacturers. Diagnoses causes of malfunctions or failures and advises and helps implement corrective actions.
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed training as a mechanical/mechatronic technician, industrial mechanic, or similar field.
  • 2+ years repairing, maintaining or installing mechanical equipment.
  • Experience with industrial equipment is a plus.
  • Electrical background preferred.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues across the organization.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, & internet applications.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  •  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • The noise level in the work environment may be high.
