CRAFT Resource and Education Coordinator Job Description: Center for Regional Agriculture, Food, and Transformation (CRAFT) seeks a Research and Education Coordinator for a USDA funded Local Food Promotion Program grant. This position will create resources and educational programming for food businesses and retail locations to assist them in the development and sale of locally produced value added products. At CRAFT, we center community in our pursuit of transformative regional food systems that value the people who live and work within them. We envision a food system that is equitable, fostering fairness and transparency across the value chain.

This is a 15hr/week position for a total of 225 hrs for the summer 2026 semester. Pay is $18/hour.

Qualifications:

Required :

ā— Ability to self-manage time, self-start, and work independently on a time-sensitive project.

ā— Comfort in data gathering, academic research and class or resource development.

ā— Organization and attention to detail. Experience in any or all of the following preferred:

ā— An understanding of small business ownership, value added product creation, curriculum creation, and/or graphic design.

ā— Food systems, non-profit, or similar work

ā— Canva, Google Workspace, Teachable, or other design and collaboration platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Research, organize, create resources for and record 2 online asynchronous courses via the Teachable platform with the aim of providing resources and education for local value added producers and retail outlets. CRAFT staff will support students in choosing relevant topics, focusing their research, and ensuring resources will be valuable to target audiences.

All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.

Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
