Responsibilities and Duties
WHO/WHAT: We’ll give you two (green) thumbs up if you’re an energetic, dependable, and good-humored nanny who’s willing to be flexible with your schedule. Typically, you’ll work Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm supporting two busy doctors and their two active sons; this means that the occasional end-time flexibility is appreciated due to parental clinical responsibilities. This home is *bustling* so you’ll need to be organized to maintain routines. “Dirt don’t hurt,” and you’ll roll up your sleeves and dig right in as both these boys enjoy cleaning (nope, that’s not a typo) and gardening. Attending preschool, four-year-old independent big brother is the strong, silent type. A real Mr. Fix-It, he loves to build elaborate Lego structures and go around the house with his “tools,” conducting general repairs you never knew you needed. On the flip side, his jokester two-year-old baby bro prefers smashing blocks apart and then getting chased, caught, and tickled. Appreciators of routine, the fellows eat lunch and nap at the same time daily, and that’s when you’ll help with household management. There’s a cleaning service that takes care of all the big stuff. That means you’ll assist with the children’s laundry, washing dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, and light dinner prep. Using a family-provided vehicle, you’ll also drive the boys to activities, many of which you’ll plan. These generous, fun-loving parents hope the right nanny will grow roots and become like family, staying with them for at least a year, if not longer. So if this sounds like you, don’t beat around the bush because this role starts as soon as we find you so APPLY TODAY!
THE IDEAL NANNY IS…STRUCTURED! This home is buzzing, and you’ll need energy, creativity, and sharp organizational skills to keep up. Proactive and communicative, you appreciate directness and are frequently on the same page with the families you support. You’re tidy but also enjoy digging in the dirt with two boisterous budding gardeners. Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual, you rarely take unexpected time off and plan your vacation days months in advance. Both parents are doctors with critical appointments AND unplanned emergencies, which means you’ll have to be ultra-dependable yet flexible. We’re fervently looking for a nanny who takes their job but not themselves too seriously and likes to laugh. So if you’re our rose among thorns then APPLY RIGHT NOW!
