As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist guests and staff with clear communication, respond to concerns, and document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior perimeter, parking areas, and common walkways to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, observing for prohibited behavior, and assisting with basic directions and customer inquiries as appropriate for the location.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, observations, and incidents, and communicate key updates to supervisors and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
