Are you ready?

As a Business Development Manager for Power Distribution, you will develop business in the end user or contractor market.  You will lead the coordination of resources and leverage relationships to create new business opportunities.  Business Development Managers are responsible for creating new customer relationships, developing leads and closing sales. We are looking for someone with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills who loves the thrill of closing the sale.

In this role you will:

  • Prospect for new business, develop leads, close sales
  • Sell Graybar’s solutions platform
  • Conduct sales presentations to potential customers
  • Provide expertise to end users, installers, consultants, engineers, etc. regarding product specifications
  • Participate in professional organizations to enhance lead generation potential
  • Meet or exceed assigned annual sales and profitability budgets

What you bring to the table:

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to network and make connections
  • 4+ years experience in sales, marketing or operations preferred
  • Ability to travel

Pay Details:

The expected salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.
