Overview

UP TO $24 HOURLY with FULL BENEFITS, VACATION & 401K

MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND BACKGROUND (NO EXCEPTIONS)

MUST BE ABLE TO READ & TAKEOFF MATERIALS FROM BLUEPRINTS (NO EXCEPTIONS)

WE SPECIALIZE IN RESIDENTIAL SUNROOMS & SCREEN ROOMS. EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PRODUCTS IS PREFERRED

 

The Measure/Breakout/Order performs the measuring, breakout, and ordering for installation by going to customer’s homes and reviewing the job as outlined by the salesperson. Will actually measure the job and check for potential installation problems. The jobs will be broken out on the computer to prepare it for ordering.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain branch production timelines within job duties2. Check jobs for potential installation problems3. Review concerns with Operations Superintendent and Regional Operations Manager4. Break out jobs on computer5. Break out/order all peripheral/non-PE materials and provide list for ordering items prior to scheduled installation6. Create a list of all materials so that job may be properly staged in the warehouse7. Review contract with customer8. Deal positively with the customer and/or employee9. Prepare/review jobs for CAD, zoning, HOA, and/or permitting as needed

10. Permit drop off/pick up as needed11. Perform service work as needed12. Work with subcontractors regarding foundation or PE breakout/installation questions

13. Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Three to five years of product experience as an installer and/or carpenter. Must understand all product lines and know how to diagnose and correct service problems. Able to use various power and hand tools. Able to communicate effectively with the customer and employees. Computer knowledge is helpful.

 

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:1. Customer service surveys, top score of 90% or better2. Project timelines in line with branch production timelines3. Inventory and material management in accordance with GDI branch forecasts
