Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, other related specialized Engineering area, or the equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Duties and Tasks:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Possess high level of manufacturing technical skills

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, tools, processes, and operations for new and existing products

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for managing people, conducting meaningful performance reviews, career development discussions and merit recommendations

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establishes and ensures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Works closely with engineering to ensure new products are seamlessly transitioned into production

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Customer interface supporting technical issues

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for ensuring that all internal quality practices demonstrate compliance to external requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate across departments鈥擫ines of Business, Supply Chain Management, and Engineering to ensure program objectives are aligned and understood

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage all capital requirements in facilities and ensure equipment and machinery meet the required safety, quality, and productivity requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Designs, develops and transfers manufacturing engineering tools, strategies and systems

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May lead other managers and/or supervisors related to a business area, project or strategic activity

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Typically leads a department(s) or large complex project or several smaller projects concurrently to meet business and profitability growth objectives

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manages group activities to develop and implement long range goals and objectives to meet business and stated profitability growth objectives

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Leads team members and / or senior department staff to develop measurements to monitor performance to established processes and procedures

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Leads teams in resolving business related issues

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Directs, coordinates and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of manufacturing efforts within areas of responsibility

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensures process compliance of all manufacturing activity in areas of responsibility

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Contributes to the development of strategies for pricing, program planning, risk management, and margin generation for programs at the proposal stage

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manages the overall execution of process changes to improve overall efficiency of manufacturing and the effects on current and future work (cost, cycle time, quality)

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Establishes selection criteria for hiring senior members of operations staff and manages hiring process

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supports proposals within Manufacturing

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manages and reviews the development of operations schedules and baselines in response to program direction, contract guidance and product lifecycle requirements

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Leads efforts to identify technical risks and develop risk reduction plans

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Regular communications with senior level management

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Travel may be required

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Drives a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization

Combined Salary Range

USD $142,696.00 - USD $158,303.00 /Yr.
