Travel MRI Technologist ( Nights)
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA.

  • Nights 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM 8; Monday-Friday 11p-7.30a 40hrs
  • Start Date: 8/17/2026
  • Contract: 13 Weeks
  • Location: Pittsfield, MA
  • Hourly Pay: $ 51.00
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $ 2776.00
  • Weekend Requirements: None/Holiday coverage if required
  • On Call Requirements: POSSIBLE CALL
  • Traveler Policy: WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILITY. To avoid delays in processing, please include perm address at profile upload.
  • 8hrs non-billable orientation
  • GE HDXT 16.0 & 23.0
  • Ratio: Approximately 9 patients/shift
  • Will always work with another Tech Aide or another MRI Tech/Traveler will never work solo
  • After midnight the department is covered by call.
** Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD/DURING INTERVIEW WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

** 10/12HR SHIFTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administers radiation treatments, simulations, dosimetry functions, and fabricates blocks in preparation for treatment.
  • Requires initiative and independent judgment. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required.
  • Performs radiation therapy treatments as required in either a scheduled or emergent environment under the supervision of the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Updates procedure manuals as needed. Manages daily treatment schedule of all assignments on the clinical equipment.
  • Observes and demonstrates familiarity with all safety features in each clinical area.
  • Works closely with reception, Nursing, and physician components in the provision of patient care
  • Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment.
  • Attendance at all mandatory education is required.

Compensation:

  • Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements


Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have 2 Years CURRENT Magnetic Resonance Imaging/MRI experience
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (MRI) Certification is required
  • GE Equipment experience Required
  • Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred
  • Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
  • Must be willing to take call as needed
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle
  • Perm address must be included in traveler profile
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
