Assembly

Description

Build and assemble computer systems and components by following work instructions and standard procedures. Responsibilities include installing hardware, connecting cables, and assembling computer units. No advanced experience required—we will provide training for the right candidate. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime opportunities available.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Essential Functions: 

This position performs repetitive assembly of our electronic platforms. Working from hard copy and electronic assembly documentation and instructions, the position follows established sequencing of hardware and wiring installations using predefined tools and fixtures. Position working environment is standardized assembly with paced productivity requirements. 

Skills: 

· Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hardcopy drawings and work instructions. 

· Follow standardized methods of work to accomplish an established set of assembly tasks. 

· Assemble components and sub-assemblies in defined time frame. 

· Use of hand tools and soldering knowledge a plus.

· Work from established product bill of materials and assembly drawings of products currently manufactured.

· Basic computer literacy a plus, but not necessary.

· Basic ability to read and write.
