Recreation Aide - Heather Heights

We have just the job for you! Heather Heights is NOW HIRING A FULL TIME (30 hours) Recreation Aide or PART TIME (20 Hours). Includes every other weekend.

In this role you will be expected to:

Interact with residents and understand their needs and limitations with respect and empathy
Develop, lead and engage in diverse activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities including but not limited to, arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music sessions, outings, Holidays and special events
Encourage the participation and social interaction of residents during group activities
Monitor the behaviors and outcomes of an activity ensuring positive feedback and engagement
Provide individual attention and planning to residents based upon his or her needs or interests, honoring residents’ requests is our specialty!

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to lift over 25 pounds

Open Interviews: 1st Wednesday of Every Month from 2pm - 4PM

New shift differentials: $1.00 more per hour for evening shift, and $2.00 more per hour for weekend shifts.
