Full-Time LVN Wound/Treatment Nurse

What You'll Do

As our Wound/Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving residents' skin integrity and overall well-being. Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, monitoring, and treating wounds, skin conditions, and other dermatologic concerns
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
  • Performing skin assessments and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
  • Monitoring treatment effectiveness and recommending care plan adjustments as needed
  • Providing resident and family education regarding wound prevention and treatment
  • Ensuring compliance with infection control practices, regulatory standards, and facility policies
  • Participating in care planning meetings and collaborating with nursing staff, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with admissions, discharges, rehabilitation support, and resident advocacy as needed
  • Helping maintain adequate wound care supplies and treatment resources

Qualifications

  • Current, active, and unrestricted California LVN license
  • Wound Care Certification required
  • Previous wound care and treatment nursing experience required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
  • Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
