Essential Job Functions: World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members. Ability to work as part of a “team” atmosphere. Report to work on time as scheduled, in proper work attire, prepared for their full shift. Store, rotate and break loads down to proper areas; cooler or backroom. Transport product to sales floor for filling. Culling off quality or out of code product and rotate new product onto display. Trim and crisp lettuce, celery, and other wet, perishable product. Observe policies and procedures established for the department. Continuing education of product identification uses and handling. Keep work area clean- follow cleaning schedule. Follow company dress code. Follow safe handling practices for knives and cutters. Follow safe lifting practices. Follow productivity guidelines as set by the Produce Manager. Learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures. Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.. QualificationsKnowledge Skills Needed: World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to identify all produce items. Ability to read case labels. Ability to manage time effectively. Ability to multi-task& perform all tasks with a sense of urgency. Ability to read case labels and shelf tags. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds on a regular basis. Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
