This position supports the Sales, Service, and Parts departments with smooth and reliable delivery services to customers and partner locations. Core Responsibilities Customer Deliveries: Deliver vehicles, parts, or other materials directly to customers or between Thompsons locations, ensuring timely and professional service. Inspection & Documentation: Conduct vehicle or parts inspections before and after deliveries to ensure accuracy and condition. Complete required paperwork accurately. Route Planning: Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines and maximize productivity. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during drop-offs, maintaining professionalism and courtesy. Communication: Coordinate delivery schedules with Sales, Parts, and Service teams to ensure smooth operations. Vehicle Care: Keep delivery vehicles clean and in good working condition by reporting any issues promptly. Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during deliveries. Physical Requirements Environment: Work involves both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to various weather conditions. Sitting/Driving: Prolonged sitting while driving delivery vehicles. Standing/Walking: Occasional standing and walking during loading/unloading. Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing in and out of vehicles. Repetitive Motion: Regular use of hands for steering, paperwork, and loading/unloading.
