Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY 

 

Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist on Duty, the Retail Pharmacy Clerk supports the efficient processing and dispensing of prescriptions while providing excellent customer service. This role assists in prescription intake, data entry, customer transactions, and administrative functions to ensure timely and accurate pharmacy operations in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies. 

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 

 

 

Education/Licensure/Certification: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred. 

 

Knowledge/Experience: 

  • Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred. 

  • Knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical terminology preferred. 

 

Skills:  

  • Strong data entry and computer skills.  

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Ability to work well as a team, and independently on assigned projects. 

  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
