In this role, the Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets within The Joint Commission, CMS, state, and OSHA standards and regulations.    Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods Present, garnish and arrange final dishes Occasionally serve food Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes Handle and store ingredients and food Maintain food safety and sanitation standards     Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:   Education: High school diploma preferred. Experience: Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in quantity cooking, a basic knowledge of modified diets; training in food service sanitation and possession of food service food handler’s permit as required; experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils; and some prior kitchen supervisory experience helpful.
