We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Indiana Navigator to join our team at Hendricks Behavioral Hospital!  As the Indiana Navigator at Hendricks Behavior Hospital, you will serve as a guide and advocate for individuals seeking assistance with healthcare coverage. This position is critical in ensuring that clients have access to the necessary resources and support systems to improve their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: - Assist clients in understanding and accessing healthcare and behavioral health services available to them. - Provide personalized support and guidance to clients navigating through complex healthcare systems and processes. - Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure clients receive comprehensive care. - Educate clients about their rights and responsibilities within the healthcare system. - Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress. - Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage clients and increase awareness of available services. - Stay informed about changes in healthcare policies and programs that may affect clients. - Advocate for clients' needs and work to remove barriers to accessing care. - Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance service delivery. Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for: Education: High school graduate, or equivalent preferred. Must complete the Indiana Navigator training program approved by IDOI. Experience: A minimum of one (1) years’ experience assisting patients with health care coverage application. Experience with Microsoft Office tools, preferred. Additional Requirements: Certified professional licensed by the state of Indiana. Maintain certification through annual renewal and continuing education.
