Job Description

How You’ll Add Value:

The Product Architect is a senior member of the team and works as part of a team to continue the development of a specific application. The Product Architect determines best practices and provides guidance to other members of the engineering team. The Product Architect is responsible for analyzing requirements provided by Business Analysts and documents the design and implementation needed to meet the requirements.

What You’ll Do:

Essential Functions

  • Develop and maintain a specific application.

  • Work with Business Analysts providing guidance during the requirement gathering phase.

  • Clarify business requirements for other members of the team.

  • Continually monitor the engineering team’s work, to ensure best practices are being followed.

  • Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

What You Will Bring:

Academic & Work Experience

  • Experience with selected programming languages, including Ruby and JavaScript (ExtJS)

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails

  • Experience of relational PostgreSQL databases

  • Experience using automated unit testing frameworks

  • Be able to automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.

  • Be able to review and debug code

  • Bachelor’s Degree (4 years) in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field

  • With a degree, 2-3 years of software development experience

  • Without a Bachelor’s degree, 4-5 years of software development experience

  • Specific experience with Limfinity product a plus

United States Base Compensation: $114,000.00 - $142,000.00

The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications),  qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
