Education and Experience:

  • Must have bachelor's degree in social, behavior or human services field from an accredited university
  • Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
  • 1 year of experience in dealing with Children/Families having behavioral and/or emotional problems is preferred
  • Must have valid TX driver's license and be insurable

Job Purpose:

  • Provides curriculum basked skills training and service coordination activities for children/adolescents who have been identified as eligible for services
  • Develop and maintain curriculum for skills training services
  • Provide service coordination for clients including, but not limited to linking to other appropriate services and advocating for individuals served

Job Function:

  • Provide skills training for consumers and their family members
  • Ensure proper billing practices are adhered to in regards to direct reimbursable services and Medicaid administration claiming
  • Maintains regular contact with individuals served to monitor services and identify needs
  • Will provide crisis intervention services to individuals with mental illness
