KBS Companies is hiring a Garage Door Installer Helper / Apprentice to join our Overhead Doors team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside experienced installers, learn a skilled trade, and build a long-term career.

No garage door experience? That’s okay. If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and have some mechanical or construction background, we’ll teach you the rest.

Great fit for candidates from construction, farming, automotive, landscaping, or general labor backgrounds.

What You’ll Be Doing

Assist with installing residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
Help with service calls and basic repairs.
Load, unload, and organize materials and equipment.
Keep jobsites clean and safe.
Support the lead installer and crew throughout the day.
Learn tools, parts, and installation processes.

What We’re Looking For

Willingness to learn and work hard.
Mechanical or construction experience is helpful, but not required.
Reliable and shows up on time.
Able to work with a team and take direction.
Valid driver’s license.

Schedule

Monday–Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime as needed

Plainview, MN (must be able to commute or relocate)
